Getting started

What to do from delivery to first flight. Always follow the current manufacturer instructions for your model.

  1. Check the packageCompare the contents against your quote and delivery paperwork. Report anything missing or damaged straight away.
  2. Register and activateActivate the aircraft and controller in the DJI app for your model (DJI Agras for AGRAS, DJI Pilot 2 for enterprise). Check CASA drone registration requirements for your use.
  3. Update firmware and appsUpdate aircraft, controller, batteries and payloads before the first job. Use the manufacturer's current release notes.
  4. Book setup and familiarisationWe go through calibration, route or mission setup, and payload, spray or spread setup on your aircraft. This is product familiarisation, not accredited training.
  5. Keep the manuals handyFind current manuals from each product page, or DJI support.
